My favorite selection from Ware's group is III., although I also like the "the unexpected gaze of poetry,/similar to bluebirds nestling" ending in I. My 2nd favorite is II. I'm writing a poem about Elsie Stevens, Wally's wife--she only had a 6th grade education.
Also like the G. Myers ones--haven't read much else, but going to go back.

I like "the charred remains of cornstalks," and that you use "Middle," and the fact that it's capitalized. Yeah!
